My interest in art has been a lifelong facination. I have created art in many different mediums, but my favorite is watercolor. Although painting with watercolor is a challenge, I am excited by the many techniques that offer variety and newness to my art.

I never lack for inspiration. My home studio is located in a forested area that is ever-changing with the seasons. My paintings reflect the beauty of these surroundings as well as those I photograph during my travels throughout the world. I enjoy painting and sketching models and still life as well.

As I am most often inspired by beauty, my paintings are filled with light and color. Although art speaks to each person differently, my choices of subjects and colors create cheerful and soothing impressions that are friendly and comfortable to view.

I enjoy exhibiting my art and will continue to enter juried shows and competitions as well as exhibit paintings in galleries throughout the US and Europe. Although I have been sucessful in my business of interior design, I have always dreamed of making my living as an artist. Now, I am living that dream and enjoying every minute of it!
